Colleen Mira - Senior HR Consultant A lifelong Hawaii resident, Colleen Mira brought over 20 years of professional experience to Vantaggio HR when she joined the team in 2007. She has the advantage of approaching her HR consulting role with a dual perspective based upon her operational and HR background. Colleen gained 14 years of operational management experience while working for Marriott Hotels and Resorts before pursuing her passion for Human Resource Management. Since then, her HR experience has ranged from working in a Corporate HR setting for a 1,000 plus-employee company to the start-up of an HR department for a rapidly expanding family-owned firm. She has had the opportunity to gain expertise in recruiting, training, benefits management, HRIS implementation, policy development, and compliance. Colleen is professionally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Travel Industry Management and recently obtained her Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Colleen, her husband, and their two "young adults" enjoy going on adventure vacations that have included tagging gooney birds on Midway Atoll and spending time at an Alaskan bear camp. |
Jodi Arakawa - Associate HR Consultant Jodi Arakawa joins Vantaggio HR with 5 years of Human Resource experience. Prior to joining Vantaggio, she worked for a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) and for a large agricultural company where her primary duties consisted of employee relations, recruiting, worker's compensation management, timekeeping, HR and union contract compliance, and HRIS records management. For Vantaggio, Jodi assists clients in areas such as HR administration, handbooks, payroll, and timekeeping. She graduated from the University of Hawaii with a dual bachelors degree in Human Resources Management and Finance. She returned to school in 2005 to obtain her Master's Degree in Human Resources Management through the University of Hawaii's Outreach Program. In her free time Jodi along with her fiancé enjoys exercising and lying on the sand on one of Maui's beautiful beaches. |
