Lauraine Bifulco - President
Two themes are woven throughout Lauraine Bifulco's diverse career: a passion for a job well done and a zest for continual learning and improvement. Lauraine infuses Vantaggio HR with these qualities every day. When she founded the firm in 1994, Lauraine combined her rare talent in understanding what a client needs and her gift of business foresight to create a company that can service the HR and management consulting needs of small and large companies equally well. Today Vantaggio serves clients across the country from their offices in Southern California, Hawaii, and Florida.

Her career experience helps employers realize their HR goals and adapt to the shifting HR landscape. Lauraine is a veteran HR executive and entrepreneur with 25 years of international, corporate, and consulting experience. Her bold career has taken her to employment and business opportunities in Europe and multiple U.S. cities.

Lauraine's perspective on the impact culture has on business makes her a sought-after industry resource. She conducts frequent seminars on HR topics with an emphasis on employment law compliance and is frequently asked to co-speak with prominent employment law attorneys. Publications around the country rely on Lauraine as a recognized HR expert. The California Small Business Association has appointed her several years running as chair of the Labor Issues Legislative Advisory Committee. Lauraine was nominated in 2007 for Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" award, and her company was honored by being named 2006 Small Business of the Year by CA Senate Minority Leader, Senator Dick Ackerman. In 2008, Vantaggio received the prestigious award of being named one of the top 25 woman-owned businesses in the United States by Working Mother Magazine. In addition, Lauraine is a member and frequent lecturer for Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), Society for Human Resources (SHRM), and sits on the board of directors for several business organizations and private firms. She is also a founding member of one of the Orange County chapters of WPO (Women Presidents' Organization). Recently, Lauraine was featured in OC Metro's "Top 20 Women to Watch" edition.

Lauraine received a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and conducted graduate level studies in linguistics at the Sorbonne in Paris. She resides in San Juan Capistrano, where she balances the rigorous demands of growing Vantaggio HR with the art of managing a successful marriage and raising two children. In her spare time, Lauraine pursues two other long-time passions: gourmet cooking and traveling.

James "Rus" Miller - Vice President
Rus Miller's soft-spoken Southern style belies an exacting approach to operations management that has helped Vantaggio HR stay the course while providing exceptional service to clients. Serving as Vantaggio HR's Vice President since 1994, Rus provides long-term management consulting and safety advice to employers. He infuses each client engagement at Vantaggio HR with an executive perspective honed at the helm of three engineering and manufacturing firms: Sithe Energies, Luz Engineering, and Arkenol. During his career, Rus has been a committed volunteer leader of such organizations as the Navy Submarine League, Rotary International, and Solar Energy Industry Association. He also served as the co-chair of the 19th Biomass Industry Symposium Colloquy and has authored various articles for Electric Power Research Institute and Power magazines. Rus holds a dual bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M and Baylor University. Today, Rus is at home in the boardroom as he is on the baseball field with his son.
